Bio William Jason O'Mara
Acclaimed author, consultant, and award-winning speaker/facilitator, Dr. William Jason O'Mara is a pioneer in the organizational development field, and is considered one of America's most gifted leadership teachers. He is a former Lead Facilitator for Starwood Hotels 'Leading Starwood' intensive, and continues to provide many custom programs currently to hotels world wide on Leadership, Team Building, and Strategic Planning. Dr. O'Mara is also a past adjunct (trainer and feedback specialist) with the Center for Creative Leadership, an international leadership training organization, specializing in assessment and coaching. Over the past 22 years he worked with managers from organizations, such as IBM, At & T, Met Life, Merck, and Nissan, and delivered keynote addresses to many of the most prestigious organizations in the country.
O'Mara achieved an advanced degree (doctorate) in Organizational Development / IO Psychology educated at Tulane University, Cornell University, The California School of Professional Psychology and The Infinite Wind Institute. He is also certified as a Feedback Specialist and Executive Coach from the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), and holds certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Naam Yoga, and Holistic Health and Wellness. He was greatly influenced by his great teacher, native American leader Speaking Wind (Patrick Edward Quirk). Combining his academic background and professional expertise with his personal experience as a martial artist, coach, and athlete, O'Mara developed a unique approach as a leadership development/peak performance consultant and life path educator.
